Draft at Craft Brewed. Pours a glowing, straw gold with a finger of white foam that lingers throughout. Estery Belgian yeast nose with lemon and light dill notes. Lemon and grassy hops on the palate, cracked malt and light pepper on the finish. More lemon zest towards the end as it warms. Fairly dry with some light sweetness at the end. --- Beer merged from original tick of Wizard Sauce on 13 Jul 2018 at 21:43 - Score: 7. Hopped-up saison, and at least the nose seems right, bright and grassy with slight banana-clove sweetness. Looks okay, cloudy gold with a slight head and minor lacing. Taste never quite finds its mark; saison notes offer up hay and sweet grass and wheat, some clove and banana, yet the hops are far too strong, overpowering the brew with a fierce medicinal bitterness. Citric hops might be nice, but this brew’s all resin and pine on the back end. Off-balance, I guess.

Growler Clear gold with a sticky, long lasting white head. Aroma is resiny pine hops and a bit of sweet malt. The flavor is pretty washed out and the body is very thin. Really disappointed. I will try again if I find this on draft.
