Can shared at Lucky Bamboo share. Pours a hazy gold with a finger of foam. Lots of grapefruit, orange marmalade, marshmallow and apricot on the nose. Smooth and sweet on the palate, with no trace of the alcohol. Dangerously smooth, but one-dimensional. Very little bitterness and quite sweet....dessert level. Gets a bit cloying even in a small pour.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 4/25/2018. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy golden amber/light orange color with a 1 finger dense off white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of huge tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, honey, biscuit dough, light caramel/toast, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Fantastic aromas with awesome complexity and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, honey, biscuit dough, light caramel/toast, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, honey, biscuit dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingeirng hop astringency after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, fairly sticky, and slightly resinous mouthfeel that is great. Lightly increasing warmth of 10%, with slight booziness lingering after the finish. Overall this is an awesome Triple IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to drink for the big ABV; with the mellowly bitter/drying finish. Nicely soft feel, not aggressive. Huge juicy Citra hop complexity, with balanced bready malts; not overly sweet/heavy feeling from lingering dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and well made style example as expected.

Can, from Milk & Hops - Astor Place. Hazy orange with foamy off-white head, apricot-citrus aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter citrus-apricot taste, thin body, long finish. Very good IPA.

16 ounce can. Hazy light gold color. Small bubbly white head. Fragrant tropical fruit nose. Lots of citrus upfront. Lemon, lime, mango, pineapple and grapefruit. Intense alcohol notes in middle. Lots of peppery bitterness in finish. The alcohol dominates. Lacks balance and complexity.

Pounder: Mango, fingernail polish, lillies on the nose. Cloudy amber, viscous, headless. Boozy mango, tangerine. Full body, easy carbonation, warm. This is a beast, but good.

Pour is a almost clear blonde with just a little chill haze clouding things up. Aroma is plenty fruity and I also get some garlic and onion. Flavor is a citrus bomb with lots of fresh peeled orange and some grapefruit. The 10% alcohol does not get in the way too much but it does leave a warning in the chest as this goes down. If this was about 8% it would have gotten an even better score. Pretty nice showcase of the citra hop. Probably best fresh as possible.
