Bottle thanks to Rob. Pours a cloudy dark purple with medium pinkish head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is strong oak, bourbon, grape, berry. Medium body, strong bourbon, jammy berry, oak, nice tartness, very nice.

Pour at State of Origin 2018. Pours a purplish copper with a small head that dissipates. Oaky bourbon aromas with blackberry jam and prune aromas. Dry on the palate, but some oaky vanilla notes from the barrel. Boozy, but not overly so. Smooth with blackberry notes throughout. Very nice.
