Brewed with the finest German ingredients, including Premium Pilsener Malt, a blend of noble hops straight from the Hallertau region, and bottom-fermenting yeast we acquired from a famous Munich brewery, this straw colored Pilsener is delightfully hoppy, crisp, and clean.

Can from Trader Joe's. Pours a clear gold with a finger of foam that lingers. Bready malts with some lemon, and leafy, peppery aromas. Hoppy bitterness, slightly grassy and faint sweet malt. Clean and crisp with great carbonation and mouthfeel. Peppery bitterness throughout. Very well done and a pleasant surprise from Blue Pants.

Solid pils from Blue Pants, unexpectedly rich and cream—not altogether normal for a pilsener, sure, but nice—with a moderate grassy sweetness backed up by hints of lemon and apple and a firm Noble bitterness. Toasted grain notes balance out the dry floral notes, while a mild white bread yeastiness accents the fade. Not what you’d call a crisp, clean pils, but very drinkable regardless. Gorgeous pour, okay nose. I’m enjoying this pint.

Bottle. Gusher! This filled a tall pint glass with pure white foam. The bottle is doing a slow Mt Vesuvius thing of white foam down the sides of the bottle into the sink. The retention is very good, this doesn’t want to become liquid without a wait. The bottle continues a slow foam out. Light, spicy hop aroma. The flavor is lightly bitter with a bit of wet cardboard. Medium body.

Bottle: Nearly clear, gold, with a small white head. Aroma is slightly floral, fruit, grain aroma. Taste is sweet grain malt, straw. Very mild floral bittering..... pretty good , but lacks a lot of classical Pils-ness.

Bottle. Lemon, biscuit malt, and straw aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Lightly sweet biscuit malt and moderately bitter herbal hay flavor. Good body. Pretty good.
