Bottle shared at Zack's Epic Tasting. Pours a clearish deep gold with some blood-orange highlights and a finger of foam that lingers. Very fruit forward nose with cherry, plum and light strawberry aromas. Smooth and with a slightly creamy texture on the palate, lots of oak and vinous cab notes. Smooth and with a lot of depth from the barrels and wine. The base beer really stands up as well. Lingering cherry and creamy oak on the finish. Fantastic beer.
