50cl swing top bottle. A clear reddish brown beer with a mid-sized off-white head. Aroma of smoked red malt, some bacon and caramel. Taste of caramelish smoked malt, red malt, bacon. Good!

50 cl bottle @ Gasthäus Huber, Oberperfuss. BBE 30.11.2017. Aroma has nice tar and smoky notes. Feels sweetish. Flavour has sweet smoky tones, peat, hints of tar and some leathery notes. Aroma was very promising but flavour is a bit stuffy.

Ein netter Versuch, der meiner Meinung nach etwas über das Ziel hinaus schießt. Das Bier schmeckt nicht nur ordentlich rauchig, sondern schon nach Brikettfabrik. Dazu kommen ein paar nette Malzaromen die das Bier zwar aufwerten, aber für ein Top-bier ist es mir zu verbrannt.

Bottle shared. Cloudy orange brown with an off white head. Aroma of smoked malts, peat, burnt meat, light caramel and grain. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Light medium bodied with light carbonation.
