Draft at Craft Brewed. Pours a clearish gold with a finger of foam that dissipates. Cinnamon, nutmeg and lavender permeate the nose with some cake-like aromas as it warms. Smooth on the palate with sweet spice cake notes and lingering floral lavender notes. Bitter on the finish with peppercorn and astringent floral petals. Not bad, but the sweetness mid-palate moves towards becoming cloying.
