Cask at the bumble Inn Peterborough. A hazed nut brown coloured pour with a loose speckled beige head. Aroma is rich nutty, bark and pine, some jammy fruits. Flavour is composed of earthy Nutts, roast, bitter bark, twiggy wood. Palate is semi sweet, rich bitter dark choc, good condition.

Gravity cask from the Real Ale Classroom, Stoneygate, Leicester. Dark brown and slightly translucent with a large loose beige head. The head fades but the aroma does not: oak and cherrywood, bitter cooking chocolate, and farther away smells of tobacco leaves, coffee grounds and blackberries. Sweet malty taste at first, but this delicate flavour is challenged head-on by an earthy and uncompromising hop bitterness mid-sip. The long bitter finish and aftertaste is a bit too medicinal for me, otherwise this is a top, top beer.
