At this moment (November 2019) Lux in Tenebris is our flagship mead. It was brewed with a fatal overdose of blueberries and a hint of white chocolate. As always: this is a small batch mead (120l / 32 gallon) If you hold your glass up to the light, you’ll note that this mead is completely opaque. We have put an completely insane amount of fruit in (950 grams/liter – 8 lbs/gal). Lux in Tenebris is a sweeeeheeeet dessert mead. Apart from the fruit an chocolate we put in about 500 grams/liter (4.2 lbs / gal) of honey in the mix. All that sweetness is kept nicely in check by the tannins and the acidity of the fruit.
