Most Blacksmith’s Meadery fans know that we’re upping the fruit and honey volumes significantly each new batch. As far as the Sanguis series is concerned we may have reached the endpoint of that. As a result Sanguis Nobilis Plus Ultra is (quite a lot) sweeter then what you may have come to expect from our meads, but the sweetness is in perfect counterpoint to the acidity and the tannins of the fruit.
