Can from Kisjes Slijterijen, Meppel. Finally got around to this one. Sweet with loads of chocolate, tonka, a touch of coconut, roasted malt, caramel, and a fairly balanced bourbon presence. Flavour is pretty sweet with a moderate bitterness and a little boozy blessing. Full body, bit sticky. Delicious, very rich, best of the four.

Can at home, picked up at Malt Attacks, Brussels, 22nd October 2021. Pours black and thick. Aroma is chocolate, caramel, vanilla, bourbon, liquor. Taste is sticky, caramel, bourbon, dark chocolate, a little booze heat, musty tonka. Delicious and crazy good

Pours black, flat. Smells sweet, bourbon, chocolate, tonka. Thick, smooth, almost completely flat. Little bit boozy. Taste is rich, chocolaty roast, bitter chocolate, bourbon, and a tiny trace of tonka. Bit earthy, very dark cacao desserty. Very tasty.

Can @ Home. Pours pitch black with a fading brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, cocoa, tonka, little cinnamon, little vanilla, light licorice, light bourbon. Flavor is sweet, rich malty, caramel, chocolate, spice, cocoa, vanilla, light cinnamon, tonka, licorice, light bourbon, alcohol. Medium to full body, oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation, sweet mild spicy finish with some warming alcohol. Intense but quite easy to drink. 121020

Can from Etre. Thick, black black with almost no head. Loads of coconut and cinnamon, heavy cocoa powder. Dark and decandent chocolate. Touch of barrel heat. Nice stuff.

Thanks Shu for sharing! Taster showing dark brown and no head. The nose shows moderately intense cacao throughout with pronounced dark chocolate upon warming up. The palate is lightly carbonated and full bodied with a thick mouthfeel. Dark chocolate and cacao throughout with a dark chocolate bitterness. Kinda fudgy

Can split at the L6 XMAS Karnage Tasting, thanks to Danny Boyo, 19/12/19. Pitch black with a well presented tan cap. Nose is sweet malts, dark chocolate, light spice, coffee, dark fruit rinds. Taste comprises chocolate, Bounty Bar, dark malts, mellow roast, coffee, coconut, cacao nibs, well integrated bourbon. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Solid impy stout.
