On tap @ Kimchi festival 2015. Murky dark brown color. Big beige to brown head, slowly receding. Aromaβs: roasted, light sour, coffee/mocha. Retronasal I get roast, malts, ground coffe, light sourness. Flavor is roasty moderate bitter with a hint of (coffee-ish) sourness. Light bodied, rather thin. Finishes with a hard-roasted bitterness.

Bottle @ Kafe Belgie, dated 24 Nov 2014, large sample. Dark color, short frothy brown head. Aroma of loads of roasted barley, slight coffee, bit dark fruits. Soft malty bitterness in taste, roasted again. But itβs all quite well balanced and the roast doesnt get harsh or dry or anything. Easy drinker, full of flavor. Great stuff. --- Beer merged from original tick of London Porter on 21 Mar 2015 at 12:53 - Score: 9. Original review text: Dikke bak geroosterde gerst, zonder te droog te worden.
