Aromas of hay, slightly cereals, belgian yeast, banana and floral, citric hops. Taste is very soft and well-balanced. Citric fruits, some spices, pepper. Warming with a dry finish. 22 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out saison yeast, some citrus notes and spiciness -- typical North American saison. Flavour is likewise a typical North American saison, followed by citrus and bready malt. Lots of cheap North American saison yeast. No good.

22 ounce bottle. Release #15. 7.1 ABV. Cloudy yellow gold. Thick bubbly white head. Perfumy yeasty wheat malt aroma. Notes of bubblegum and lemon peel. Upfront, earthy wheat malt with hints of lemon, clove and hay. Very smooth and refreshing. There is that underlying funky barnyard touch that lingers throughout. Finish is slightly dry and peppery. Overall, very good and true to the Saison style.

Jan 2017: Hazy without much head. Quite yeasty on the nose, especially pedio and way too much yeast. This has a fair bit of dusty character, with a sweet and dusty character. No change in the rating.
Spring 2014: Hazy blonde, not much head. Lots of phenolic yeast...common saison yeast.... Sweetish, but in the finish there’s a touch of acidity and pedio that doesn’t seem like it should be there. Ends up not that interesting save for the faults. 6-3-6-2-12 = 2.9

Bottle at Brewers Haven in Nampa, ID. Clear light yellow with a thin white ring. Faint somewhat off putting aroma. Lovely slightly sweet light malt flavor some honey and light spice. Doesn’t taste like 7%. Nice
