Die alten Hamburger Schifferbiere des 15. Jahrhunderts wurden als starke, hopfenbetonte Biere mit viel Stammwürze eingebraut, um den feinen Tropfen haltbarer zu machen. Voilá: Der Vorläufer des India Pale Ales war geboren. Frisch von der Hamburger Westküste kommt heute nun unser IPA. Ein bissiges, naturbelassenes Bier. Fruchtig und exotisch mit Aromen von Pfirsich, Papaya und Orange. Immer richtig, nicht nur bei Hai Alarm!

From tap at Altes Mädchen Braugasthaus. Clear golden orange color with white head. Malty and hoppy aroma, caramel, pine, citrusy fruity, grapefruit, grassy. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Bottle, 6.3%. Good caramelly hop aroma. Quite cloudy dark orange colour. Small frothy chalk white head. The flavour starts off with a distinct bitterness. Then comes a creamy maltiness, not much caramelly hop in the flavour. Clean finish.

Bottle. Cleard dark gold with a nice white head. Aroma and taste of citrus fruits, pine and malts. Bitter. Medium to strong carbonation. Not really special but a very good everyday IPA. Drinkable AF.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden pale amber color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty weak hoppy aroma. Fruity malty weak hoppy citrus flavor. Has a fruity malty weak hoppy citrus finish.
