Aroma of malt, caramel, hint of dark fruits, raisins, hint of hops. Flavour is moderate sweet with a light to moderate bitter finish. Not a bad Scotch Ale at all.

Tap Morshuis Albergen. Amber color, Cloudy. Himts of roast and pear in the aroma and flavor. caramel, licorice, slightly alcoholic. Earthy notes in the finish. Drinkable.

Tap. Murky reddish-amber color with nice eggshell head. Aroma is dark fruits, lots of prunes, some toffee-caramel as well. Taste is a nice mixture of toffee and prunes. Silky-creamy mouthfeel. Well-balanced, but not too complex either.

Draft at De Hemel. Clear amber with a medium light cream head. Aroma of caramel, sweet malt, some dark fruit and toffee. Flavour is above moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter. Draught@Take One, Maastricht. Hazy orange colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is floral, some slight yeasty and mild wooden notes along with a bit of toast to it. Flavour is fruity, floral, toffeeish and herbal with a slight touch of alcohol to it as well.

Draught @ De Baron, Eindhoven. Clear amber-ish color, medium sized off-white to beige head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma is malts, grainy, slightly metallic. Taste malts, iron, metallic, a hint of caramel, perhaps even a slight hint of butter, lightly bitter. Average body and carbonation. Meh.

Tap at De Paas, Den Haag. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is big rich sweet treacle. The flavour is light bitter sweet with a light malt woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
