Bottle on Train on Bamberg Jolly Day 1 24/1/14. Really nice looking amber orange coloured pour with a nice off white head. Viscous liquid. Aroma is rum barrel wood berry and rasin. Flavour is sweet burnt sugar, treacle, honey. Some hot alcohol. Fullish body. Some yeast stress in the ferment. Not very driunkable.

a) Im Geruch würzig-süßlich. leicht staubig.
Test vom 24.1.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,10,10,1,12,5 - 6,95

Beautifully executed doppelbock. Dark amber with thin silky head, nice sourish malty aroma. taste is even richer with hints of caramel, toffee, butterscotch, malt, buttery smooth and soft lingering on the palate. A treasure to enjoy!
