Massively dry-hopped American Sour Ale. Amorous is aged in red wine barrels for approximately 8-10 months and then dry-hopped with over 3.5 pounds per barrel. We love this beer both fresh off the dry hop and cellar aged.

Sampled from tap at Beertemple’. Clear, golden amber with a white head. Sourish-fruity, moderately funky aroma of lemon, gooseberry, some rhubarb and barnyard. Sourish-fruity, moderately funky taste of lemon, gooseberry, rhubarb, barnyard and oak, followed by a medium long, rather tart and dry finish. Medium body, spritzy and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice! Don’t get too much of the barrel though.
