Plenty of British Crystal malt in the grist lends this ale its rich color, its caramel maltiness, and adds the occasional whiff of toffee to the nose. An addition of American and German hops to the kettle at the end of the boil is used to suffuse our Pale Ale with a gently spicy hop finish.

On tap at the taproom in Burnaby. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Aroma is non-intensive with tropical fruits notes. Taste is fresh with tropical fruits hoppiness. Same character aftertaste.

Very nice head of bleach white with a bit of oomph to it, also a bright yellow body with minimal carbonation. Lots of hops on the nose but little else. Flavour is plenty of sharp hoppiness with hints of citrus, light flavours. A little weak on the mouth, could use more oiliness. Not bad, just adequate.

At a tasting, thanks, small bubbly head, aroma of flowers and tropical fruits, fruity woody flavor, medium herbal bitterness, light sourness, a little muted but still nice and drinkable.

Can sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Thanks Stas. Clear golden. Aroma of citric and floral hops, and slightly chalky malt. Flavor has sweetish malt, and bitterish citric and floral hops. Light to medium-bodied.

Tap at Craft Bier Fest Wien. Very easily drinkable classic pale ale. Biscuity toasted maltiness and a restrained citrusy piney hops character. Good session beer.
