Bottle from the lcbo. Murky brown pour, with a big off white head. Aroma is obviously smoky. Sausages, bacon and campfire are up front with the slightest hint of bananaish wheat Aroma. The smoke just dominates, it’s not horrible, but the base Hefe is very hard to find.

Aroma of wheat, charred wood, some banana, smoked sausage, hint of lemon. Flavour is a bit sour, actually. Nice beer!

Bottle from LCB. Murky brown with well formed off white top. Aroma of smoke and sweet banana wheaty notes. Taste again quite smoky with raisin, malts, lemon, banana, clove. Medium bodied but a bit cloying. Its ok if a bit sweet. I'm still not convinced by the style but I've rated objectively.

Bottle 0,5ltr: This fine speciality from Franconia an Weizen brewed with the smoked version style. Hazy amber colour an smokey start and a woody taste.

0,5l bottle at home. Brown hazy color, medium off white head. smells smoky, toffee, spices, earthy. Nice to very nice smell. Medium body, soft carbonation. tastes toffee, caramel, spices, subtle smoke, bit peppery, . finishes lightly sweet and lightly bitter with notes of caramel, toffee and subtle smoky notes. Very good one, great balance

Poured from 500mL bottle (stamped 04/2013 - fiulijnator cellar). Hazy light brown with small white head. Mild smoke and some spices and esters, decent despite being 11 years old.
