Poured from 500mL bottle (stamped 04/2013 - fiulijnator cellar). Hazy light brown with small white head. Mild smoke and some spices and esters, decent despite being 11 years old.

500ml @ Ryan's shared with Alex and Farees. BB 04/2013. Appearance: hazy copper with a tan head. Aroma: smoky, mazut, some malty notes. Taste: malty, some fruity notes, crispy, slightly smoky. Overall: good, especially considering the age.

Hazy brown, tall head, smoke dominates the nose. But the flavor adds those yeasty banana notes, full mouthfeel off the Weizen, really great weissbier as well as smoke beer!

En vaso weissen, color cobre oscuro, forma abundante corona de espuma beige de media retención y bajo residuo. Aroma a barbacoa, brasas, tocino ahumado, humo. En boca permanecen los matices ahumados, pero de una forma un tanto menos robusta como en el olfato, lo cual nos permite apreciar también ligeras notas herbales, corteza de pan y maltas ahumadas. Una experiencia interesantísima, como lo son todas las cervezas de Schlenkerla

Bottle at home picked up from HOTM. A translucent amber / chestnut brown coloured pour with a lasting lively magnolia rocky head. Aroma is nice smokey, bacon frazzles, dusty grains, nutty, birch wood smoke, dusty, wheat, little rubber. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty brown bread, mellow smoked malts, dusty wheat, rye, bitter finish. Palate is very lively, frothy airy carbonation, prickly. Gassy. Nice flavoursome smoked wheat beer.

Trüb bernsteinfarben mit weißer Schaumkrone. Rauchiger, hefiger, malziger Geruch. Geschmacklich rauchig, brotig, hefig, malzig. Mittlere Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.
