Barwa złota, klarowne, piana biała, średnio obfita, średnio trwała. W aromacie słodowe, lekko zbożowe. W smaku słodowe, lekko słodkawe, możliwa lekka siarka/DMS. Goryczka średniowysoka jak na styl, wysycenie wysokie, ciało w normie. Wadliwe, ale do wypicia.

Half liter bottle from Trig's Cellar 70, 4/25/21. Clear gold. Large foamy white head, good retention. Aroma of bready malt, grass, almonds, hints of apricot. Taste is doughy malt, floral and grassy hops. Crisp, well balanced. Quite nice.

Bottle at a tasting. Loads of corn, unnatural syrupy sweetness. Not much more to be found here. Plain, drinkable, but not very tasty. Rather thin body, moderate carbonation.

Can from Victa I guess. Clear, pale yellow-golden body, some thick white head, medium retention really, heading towards low. Honeyish aroma, thin, some appley and some vague flowery-herbal notes underneath. Thin, sweetish-dry taste, lightly tart too, some honeyish maltiness and some apple again. A bit soft in the finish, vaguely minerally. Maaaybe vague oxidation traces, but only vague. In general a pretty ordinary German cheapo, even perhaps slightly leaning towards below-average.

Clear pale golden colour, tall frothy white head, good retention, heavy lacing. Sweet aroma, pilsner malt, grain, grassy hops. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, grain, hint caramel. Light to medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, more bitterness in the aftertaste and finish, pleasant, easy to drink, nice simple helles.

Mild und floral im Antrunk. Im Mittelteil kommt plötzlich eine bittere Note auf, die dann aber fast so schnell wieder verschindet. Alles in Allem nicht direkt schlecht, aber nicht so ganz rund und etwas wässrig. Ursprünglich mal im oberbayerischen Kloster Ettal hergestellt, kommt das Bier seit 2011 nun aus der hessischen Licher Großbrauerei, die zum Bitburger-Konzern gehört. Angeblich war das Bier so beliebt, dass die Produktionskapazität im Kloster nicht ausgereicht hat. Und offenbar gab es auch keine Brauerei in ganz Bayern die (trotz ständig sinkender Absatzzahlen) Kapazitäten frei gehabt hätte.
