Bottle in the hotel at Cascais, from Jumbo Cascais, 11/09/13. Clear light golden/amber with a smallish off white head. Nose is toasted malts, citrus fruit, hint of almonds. Taste comprises toasted malts, grain, barley, cereals, hint of citrus fruit. Light to medium bodied, a little bit of spritz but not OTT, dryish grassy finish. So so Pale Lager.

Sample at the Eurostash II tasting on 12/12/09: The beer pours from the tiny bottle a clear pale yellow color with a thin and fizzy white head that disappears quickly. Spotty lacing. Grass, corn and malt aromas. Light body with flavors of weak hops, sweet malt and grain. The finish is short and malty. Another waste of time, but it does win the award for the most ironic use of the word "Imperial".
