Bottle at home, 26/12/17. Rich chestnut brown with a well appoinred biege covering - very pleasing on the eye. Nose is biscuit, caramel, dried fruits, red berry whisper, fruit loaf, cherry skins, light spice. Taste comprises rich malts, cheesecake base, toasted brown sugars, well integrated red berry fruit tones, light floral bite, moderate spice, biscuit crumbs, toffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with balanced bitterness. Decent drop.

Cask @ LCBF 2017. Pours an amber golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grassy hoppy rye aroma. Fruity malty caramel hoppy spicy rye flavor. Has a fruity malty grassy hoppy spicy rye finish.

Bottle, part of the Fullers and Friends pack. Waitrose. Clear, deep copper colour. Film and ring of sticky, off white head. Nose has baked, ripe citrus. Spicy rye. Dried, sliced orange. Bit of sappy pine. Taste is sweet and toffee like, with some baked citrus bitterness. Palate is a bit robust and full. Soft carbonation. More stickiness to finish.

Bottle at home picked up from Waitrose, A clear amber copper coloured pour with a lasting beige head. Aroma is nice toffee, layered malts, shortbread, little jammy strawberry. Flavour is composed of sweet malts, brown sugars, toffee, like cakey, Victoria sponge. Palate is medium sweet, rounded, moderate carbonation. Very well put together.

Bottle from 6 pack selection box, Waitrose, Finchley Road, London. An amber/red coloured pour with a medium off white head on top. Fruity, malty, caramel, rye aroma. Tastes fruity, malty, caramel, rye, slightly sweet. Very drinkable and the best one out of the Fullers & Friends box so far.

Bottle picked up from Waitrose, Aylesbury consumed at home Saturday 25th November 2017 whilst Mince and Cheese Pies and also Rhubarb, Blueberry and Strawberry Shortcake Pie ( both from Pie book) Pours reddy amber with a white head, fruity and malty its a very nice beer that belies its abv. Like a pumped up bitter with a touch more hops, soft, pleasant. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Bottle from Waitrose. Copper/red piur with a wispy white head. Nose of toffee, red apple, dried fruit, pepper spice. Flavours of red apple, toffee apple, pepper, more dried fruit. Dry, malty-sweet finish. Good.

Bottle from Waitrose W-S-M drunk at home. Pours clear caramel brown with a tight, creamy beige head. Aroma is rich, malty, toffee, light spice. Taste is earthy, bready, bitter sweet, dried fruits & hints of spice. Medium bodied, fine creamy carb. Rich, dryish finish. Reminds me of an ESB with notes of spicy rye. Not bad at all
