Full-bodied, quaffable, with a fine malty taste and restrained bitterness – exactly as a traditional festbier should taste.

Dumpfer, süßlich hellmalziger Beginn. Mild würzig, wässriger Hintergrund, trocken. Leicht unterdurchschnittliche Karbonisierung, kurzer Abgang. Naja.. 8/7/8/7/9/7

A bit cleaner than most in the style. But still has that ashy bitter taste of the style I don’t like. Konsum dresden

0,5 l bottle from kappldav123. Thanks a lot! Pours out in a dark golden with a white foamy head. Malt with an alcoholic sweetness on the nose. Taste starts mid malty, allmonds, marzipan, bready, little bit alcoholic. Nice Festbier.

bottle, kindly donated by kappldav123! Clear deep golden with a quickly collapsing, fluffy white head. Malty-sweet nose and start, medium-bdied with a touch of caramel and a very shy hoppy finish. A tad on the sweet side, nevertheless quite likeable.

Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts malty, modest dry, hoppy background. More and more spicy. Finish with some metallically notes. But still okay.
