Die deutlichen Umdrehungen verstecken sich hinter eine feinen Malzsüße und einer unglaublichen fruchtigen Hopfennote. Mit einer rötlich-kupfernen Farbe schimmert das Imperial Amber Ale wie buntes Herbstlaub und mit der feincremigen Schaumkrone macht der Anblick jedem den Mund wässrig.
In der Nase überwiegt das fruchtige Bouquet des Hopfenflavours und bringt Aromen von Erdbeere und Heidelbeere mit sich. Im Mund entfaltet sich ein Mix aus Honig und Karamell im Zusammenspiel mit den fruchtigen Hopfennoten. Dazu kommt das cremig weiche Mundgefühl, das zusammen mit der leicht öligen Konsistenz, das Hoppy Amber Ale in jeden Winkel des Mundes trägt und angenehm ausfüllt.
Ein limitierter Sondersud unserer Maisel & Friends Braumeister, den man nicht verpasst haben sollte.

Bottle purchased in Leipzig. Caramel citrusy nose, not so strong honestly. The flavor is stronger, lots of sweetness of caramel malt and honey, some muted tropical fruits, i guess this is a bit old despite having 3 months left till expiry? Nevertheless very tasty, good hop balance as it's got moderately hefty bitterness behind that eight and a half percent.

330ml bottle. Opalescent, amber colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, off-white head. Relatively weak, fruity hoppy and mellow malty aroma with a sugary and jelly bear touch, somehow non-integrated hints of mandarine, mango, orange, passion fruit. Taste is slightly dry, papery, mildly bitter, fruity hoppy, mellow malty basis with a sugary touch, hints of mandarine, orange, mango, passion fruit, all with a sugary, jelly bear touch; papery, bitter hoppy finish. Minimally oily, watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously slightly dry palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Rather weak hop flavours, hints of oxidation - a bit disappointing.

Bottle shared @ Koelschtrinker's tasting. Dry sticky floral hops. Lots of grain in the back, very sticky sweetish with a big load of resin hop oils in the end. Interesting but for me too grainy sweetish. The sweetness even end over the hops.

33cl bottle. A clear amber beer with a beige head. Aroma of reddish malt, resinous hops, nuts. Taste of resinous bitter hops, spruce, pine. Good!

Rocky off white head stayed on an unclear dark copper coloured still body. Pine, satsuma & stewed fruit aroma. Medium to full bodied, soft & aerated over the tongue with tingly cloying back. Caramel, pine, stewed fruit, dates & caramel tastes with a bitter pithy finish.

0,33 l bottle from Beer Supreme, Oldenburg. Unclear red golden in the glass, nearly two finger off white head. Mid intensive tropical hoppy smell. Taste starts with a hoppy bitterness, malty and tropical fruity in the second row. Well balanced. Long lasting dry bitterness to the end and aftertaste. Not bad.

15-12-18 // bottle shared with Hopfenjünger. Clear amber golden. Mild hop malty nose. Strong sweet malty body. Very piney. Bitter with a mild Mosaic hoppiness.
