Can from the LCBO. Murky pale orange with a small short lived white head. Lots of tropical fruit with some stone fruit and lemon. Light sweet malts under a medium- tartness with lots of passion fruit and some peach. Mouth is medium with soft carbonation.Quite enjoyable. 8/3/7+/3+/15

473 ml can. Pours a thick hazy gold with full head. Aromas of nectarines, pineapples and other muddled tropical fruit. Flavors of same with bready malts that really only contribute to body. Not too tart. Nice and fruity for a kettle sour.

I will attempt to look past the fact that nar isn’t tropical. Ok, opaque yellowish appearance, with a head that dies quickly. I get the passion fruit up front on the nose, but otherwise it smells like a dirtier version of the kettle sour Steamworks released a couple of months ago. On the palate, the passion fruit lends a nice fruitiness and some sweetness. There’s still some dirty yeastiness. Not actually getting much nar anyway. Finishes wheaty with a mellow tartness, balanced by the passion fruit. If cleaner, it would be more refreshing, and I think it’s the execution on the base beer that is not up to par here. Still not bad, but they could have done better.

On tap at Darby's Gastown, pours a cloudy opaque yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out detergent, floral hops, lacto and some tropical fruitiness. Flavour is similar, with lots of tropical fruits, especially pineapple and guava. Some soapy notes on the finish. Not too bad, but a little soapy. Decent.
