20/06/2018 @home - bottle from a trade with hackobock. Black colour with small dark tanned yellowish head. Nose is roast, chocolate, caramel. Taste is gentle roast, milk chocolate, some caramel, bit fruits, bit ashy bitterness in the end topped of by hints of vanilla.

Bottle shared with Pilsnertest. Pours almost pitch black with a beige head that disappears fairly quickly. Very ashy aroma with smoked ham, molasses and soy sauce. Taste is nice with some dried fruit, chocolate. Smoke here too, but not as dominating.

Bottled, thanks Nisse666! Dark brown, no head. Prunes and raisin, coffee and licorice up front. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Licorice, coffee, madeira and port. Warming finish.

Bottle at KØ18. Yeasty and bready aroma. Dark brown colour. No head. The flavour is fruity and quite yeasty. Weak bread and fruit, mild smoke. Tastes good, but seems a bit hyped to me.

Was not easy to get the way off that bottle. But bottle looks good. Beer in the glass deep black, small head. Heavy malty aroma. Starts intense malty, roasted notes, coffee, bitter background. Also earthy notes and some bitter chocolate. Warming finish. Impressive!

50cl bottle, Batch 2, pours a cola brown with very little grey head. Nose is smokey, meaty, cherries, oak but also a weird hickory thing, mushroom too. Flavor is sweet with malt, cherries, cola, very earthy, smokey but not overly, dates and prunes, hickory. Finishes spicy, boozy, buttery, complex.

Thanks! Small bottle sampled @ Samson en Geert bierproeverij. Dark brown, little head. Nose is thin, soy sauce, mocha, umami, chocolate, ashes. Taste is thin ashes, cigarettes, soy sauce, ashes, bitter burned plastic, thin soy sauce. I don’t get the hype here, thin, ashtray, weak.
