Cask at Spread Eagle, Ipswich. Malty with citrus and berries. Dark chestnut. Thin foamy off-white head. Tangy berry sourness. Underlying malts. Caramel but also a hint of boiled veg. Medium bodied. Slick. Flat-soft carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Pleasent ESB but not overly exciting.

Half pint, cask, shared with Finn at Murderers. Deep mahogany body, scattered lacing, tiny off-white head. Inviting smell of floral fruit. Fine balanced taste of ripe citrus, biscuit, and mild caramel sweetness. Bittersweet tail. Smooth mouthfeel. Likable (Norwich 11.11.2021).
