This Black IPA poured a deep, dark blackish amber with a creamy, tan coloured head. Nice lacing. Scents include caramel, coffee, almost burnt toast and molasses. First swig was really roasty. Flavours of hops, Melloids cough drops and a little coffee. Finish is burnt but quite bitter. Not what I’m used to in a black beer. Finish was quite burnt but that nice roasty flavour is interrupted by he hoppy bitterness.

Bottle at the bow bar. Pours deep ruby, nose is roasted, pine, burnt toffee, dry, bitter, roasted, burnt toffee.

Bottle at bow bar... Dark brown.. Thin tan lacing.. Soft sweet woody toffee malts nose... Caramel woody toffee fruit.. Dry roast.. bitter
