Cask. Kelham Island Tavern, Sheffield. Soupy looking, dark gold. Thin, off white suds. Nose has lots of ripe peach and plum. Tinned grapefruit. Has an unexpected, woody, almost brett like twang to it, which actually works well. Maybe it’s the chilli addition? Taste is sticky, jammy sweet, with more of the twang, then finishing up citrusy bitter. Lots of body, with low carbonation. Long, soft and juicy bitterness to finish. Very interesting and really tasty.
