Fulsome low ABV dark ale. Definitively NOT a stout, because the ‘stout’ nomenclature should only be applied to strong beers.

Cask @ Crown & Kettle, Manchester. Black, mild tasting and smooth, and feels stronger than it is. Has smooth roasted malts, and coffee in its nose.

Cask at a Glasgow beer event. Pours deep brown, nose is roasted, chocolate, toffee, taste is similar, quite thin, little grassy.
