Bottle from real ale store, Newark. Amber to ruby colour with a thin beige glad. Aroma vodka and spice taste light sweet. Rich body.

Clear dark copper, creamy light beige head. Yeasty aroma, slightly malty and bready and light notes of fruit. Sweet, yeasty flavour. Notes dried fruit and brown sugar. Finishes malty with traces of dark berries.

Tumman punertavanruskea olut kohtalaisella, aika nopeasti hupenevalla pitsiä jättävällä vaahdolla. Tuoksu on marjaisa ja jouluisen mausteinen, mutta selvästi kevyemmin ja miedommin kuin jouluisimmilla lajitovereillaan. Maku jatkaa marjaisella linjalla ja mukana on jonkinverran makeutta täydentämässä pehmeää, mutta suutuntumaltaan aika täyteläistä kokonaisuutta. Jälkimaku jatkuu täyteläisen makeana. Loppujen lopuksi tämä on ehkä hieman yksiulotteinen, mutta ihan onnistunet tekele Leffeltä.

Bottle, 330 ml from MBR. Courtesy of and shared with JFK10000. Pours dark amber, small off white head. Roasted, caramel malty, hint of spices. Sweet, bit sugary.

17/12/2015 - free sample from perfect draft @ Wijnkelder, Berchem. Brown with nice light tanned head. Nose is dark malts, caramel, sweetness. Taste, dark matls, caramel. Way too cold to get other tastes from it but not bad at all. Even maybe the best Inbev thing I ever had

F: average but long lasting, pale brown. C: dark red to brown, clear. A: malty, spices, toffee, some dark fruit, typical Leffe, yeasty. T: malty, caramel, some spicy, brown sugar, molasses, red fruity, hint of blueberries, medium body, average carbo, a good beer, for Christmas beer I would expected more but what to expect from commercial Leffe, cheap quite tasty.
