Pours a clear light brown color, dark amber, topped with a average sized tan head. Mild aroma of roasty malt, some caramel and fruitiness as well. Sweet and malty, nice caramel feel to it, medium bitterness, alcohol is well hidden. Pretty decent.

Bottle from Cocktails, Littleborough. Chestnut-red with a frothy head. Includes winter fruity pale malts in both aroma and taste with the former sightly more stated in this respect.

*Old rating, best before 16/03/10. Malzig-süßliches Bier. Hauch von Alkohol, leichte Röstaromen, verbranntes Karamell. Im Nachgeschmack abgestimmt herb-malzig mit karamelliger Süße. Sehr süffig, nicht zu tief, nett.

330 ml bottle. Beautiful, clear, copper red body with a big, foamy tan head. Aroma of malt, fruit, Belgium yeast, dry fruit and spices. The taste has this distinct Leffe flavor, sweet malt, brown sugar, dry fruit, warming alcohol, low bitterness but more Christmas spicy in addition. It balanced, smooth and easy to drink, not bad at all, but misses some complexity to among the best Belgium Christmas beers.

Bottle from the Bottle Bank. Appearance - mid brown with a nice head. Nose - treacle, possibly tobacco but definitely a clove thing. Taste - treacle and cloves. Toffee in the background. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a dry agreeable finish. Overall - it’s good in the world of beer but in the world of Belgian beer, it definitely falls short.
