At the Hanging Bat thanks to the brewer and BennyH. It pours clear red with a tiny white head. The aroma is rich, musty, funky, oak, vanilla, red wine, musty whaffs, rioe cherry, raspberry, jammy and Victoria sponge cake. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, vinous, oily, tangy, good mouth - pucker, strawberry, raspberry, oak, vanilla, balsamic/red wine vinegar and some sherbet with a drying finish. Medium body and soft carbonation with an oily mouth - feel. Nice depth of flavour. Really rather tasty.
