Power tasting at Erik's
Black colour, brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, some rubber, some spirit, light mint. Good body strength, sweet but not syrupy, it has a good chocolate flavour, light mint, some barrel, some booze.
Maybe not the most elegant one, but it's very good.

Dark brown. Inky, no head. The aroma has a big cinnamon spice note, chocolate, alcohol, and a touch of bourbony vanilla. Really thick, rich, lots of cinnamon, some vanilla from bourbon, good wood and complex barrel notes. A bit flat, but generally yummy.

Sample at the Rhinegeist Rare Beer Fest 10/28/2017. Brown-black color with a medium tan head that diminishes gradually to a film. Small patches of lace. Bourbon, malt and fruit in the nose. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, roast malt and dark fruit. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
