Our take on how a craft lager should be brewed. Barking mad? Definitely yes! Brewed with 85% Pilsner malt and the rest made up of Munich and Pale Ale malts finishing with a tad of Cascade and Hallertau Blanc to give a light citrus taste and aroma with the body and mouth feel of a lager.

330ml bottle: BB Dec 2018. Out of date when bought at the Sherman Theatre, Cardiff. They gave me a bottle of SNAFU Boom in exchange and removed all their stock of this (all the same batch). Anyway it poured a slightly hazy gold with a fast fading white head. Not great, it had an 'off' aroma and taste, like a dirty dish cloth had been used on the glass. Scored kindly and objectively.

keg at the bow bar... Light hazy amber.. Thin white lacing.. Soft floral orange fruits nose.. Fizzy herbal bitter orange fruits

Keg at the bow bar. Pours golden, nose is lemon, floral, little funk, taste is similar, not sure it was what was intended but ok.
