A helping of New Zealand hops that add to a crisp citrus flavour to this pale ale. Foraged pine needles give a burst of flavour and a touch of bitterness

Cask at Bow Bar. It pours lightly hazy dirty blonde with medium foamy white head. The aroma is fresh, bright, grassy, pine, spruce, citrus vibes and stone fruits. The taste is dry, bitter, piney, spruce, bready, brioche, soapy, grass, fresh grapefruit and spice with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Quite good fun.

Bottle from Appellation Wines Comely Bank. Appearance - golden with a haze under the head. Nice lacy head at that. Nose - spruce, pine, citrus. Herbal note coming through at the end. Taste - creamy oaty with spruce and citrus following it in. Palate - medium bodied, creamy and elegant through the middle and finish. Bitterness just right. Overall - reckon I could drink a whole case of 12 bombers.
