Bottle shared. Pours near black with a ring tan head. Aroma of malt, raisins, overripe fruit, wood, chocolate, almost spicy. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a sweet fudge and dark fruit palate. Light full bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle from MeadMe, thanks again for the hookup. Solid black with very faint garnet at the edges and a creamy almost nitrogen looking head that lasts forever. Huge bourbon and chocolate in the aroma with a fair amount of wood and tannins. Light fruity tartness, earth and roast round out the nose nicely. The flavor is what the aroma promised big bourbon and chocolate. Big wood and earthy notes. There is a light fruity cherry tartness that almost tastes like the start of some lacto activity. At this point it adds complexity, but I could see this building over time and ruining this brew. Medium to thick body with a light level of carbonation, I enjoyed sipping on this for half the night watching it open up as it warmed, nice brew.

Bottle thanks to Brian. Pours a dark brown with nice creamy beige head that lasts. The aroma is stale bourbon, hint of chocolate, raisins. Medium mouthfeel with nice chocolate, vanilla, caramel, butterscotch on finish. Very nice.
