Bottle @ ZEBF 2015. Nice RIS, with whiskey booze and coffee tones. Could use more depth though, it’s very good, but not one of the best.

Bottle @ Zeebra 2015, small sample. Dark color, short frothy brown head. Aroma of lots of slight spicy coffee, roast, some dark chocolate, slight touch of vanilla. Quite some malty and coffee bitterness in taste, just a little cookie. Ok.

Bottle. Opaque black liquid with small to medium tan head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, biscuit, bourbon, toast, roasted malt, dried fruit and espresso. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with notes of coffee, raw sugar, toffee, bourbon, chocolate and licorice. Full bodied with low to medium carbonation. Really good, great coffee notes.

Bottle. (thanks SirLimpsalot) Black with a small tan head. Aroma of coffee, light vanilla and some roasted malt. The taste was really smooth and with coffee, bourbon, light vanilla and some roasted malt. A tasty one.

Bottle, lavender pearl wax, Boise imperial stout tasting. Dark brown pour with a modest brown head. Fresh coffee, espresso, roast, and moderate barrel notes. Espresso stands out... super high quality and it shows. Light bourbon barrel influence gives it a nice round and sweet feel to go with the java. Top tier coffee stout.

650ml bottle v2013. Black color with beige brown head. Aroma is roasted malty, coffee and chocolate, light alcohol. Sweet and light bitter taste, milk chocolate and coffee. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.
