Agave complements the refreshingly light quality of our wheat and adds a subtle note of flavor that expands this beer’s uplifting taste profile. It is familiar, yet creative.

Refrigerated bottle poured into a weizen glass. Pours cloudy golden with one finger bright white head that dies down. Nice fluffy lacing, medium body, well carbonated, and grassy aroma. Taste is slightly tart grainy lemon, some banana, some grass, some agave, and a hint of off taste that comes and goes. There are just too many better wheat beers to try this again.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Colonial Wine and Spirits, 1/3/12
Aroma: The nose is fairly light, it is mostly wheat notes, with a bit of lemon
Appearance: The pour is a hazy yellow-gold color with a white head and medium lacing
Flavor: Tastes light-mid sweet, with a wheaty flavor, a little fruit, light hop presence, and a hint of spice
Palate: The body is fairly light, with a pretty soft carbonation, and it has a slightly tingly finish to it
Overall Impression: This is a pretty unexciting Wheat Ale. It isn't terrible, it just doesn't have anything particularly interesting going on. It drinks decently, but still, it comes off a bit lacking. It isn't a bad beer, but this one could have been better.

Super hazy, bright golden orange coloured body with a very thin off-white head - nice and neon in colour. Aroma of light malt, wheat, curacao, light hops, yeast and very little else. Light-bodied; Sharp wheatie and curacao flavour with a bit of fake orange thrown with the peel. Aftertaste shows a relatively mild dry yeast flavour with some wheat, coriander seed and a touch of the orange again. Overall, a pretty mild and bland wheat, but some sweetness does come through and the beer isn’t bad at all. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Chevy Chase Wine & Spirits in Washington, DC on 28-October-2011 for US$2.49 sampled at home in Washington on 07-November-2011.

On tap at petrol station. Pours a hazy gold with an orange hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of sweet wheat notes that is joined by a bit of agave. Flavor has more agave backed by sweet grains and a hint of a pineapple note.

Bottled@Monks Cafe, Stockholm. Hazy yellowish orange colour along with a mediumsized white creamy head. Aroma is wheat, a lot of fruits, some grass, hops and mild toffeeish notes. Flavour s wheat, toffee, some fruityness, mild spices as well as some wooden notes. Refreshing, but a bit strange.

Hazy and gold with a lasting head, the beer looks pretty. Smells terrible though, wheat and lemons mixed with mildewed mopwater. The hefe flavor is unremarkable, mildly fruity but bland and corn-centric, sure to please the frat-boy crowd. Smooth, sure, but the flavor will keep you away. (2/25/09)

Cloudy yellow, small ring of white head. Aroma is almost non-existent. Taste is total wheat, with a hint of lemon. The Agave comes through right before you sip and you detect it in the finish. A simple easy drinking beer with some drinkability.

Bottle from Oak Tree. Pours hazy gold with a very slight white head. Mildly fruity aroma. Sort of like very light peach.Near medium body. Flavor is wheaty and fruity. Maybe a hint of banana and citrus, but more like light stone fruits. Drinks decently.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a hazy orange-yellow color with a medium sized frothy head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of sweet caramel notes, some bready wheat notes and just a faint bitter note from the agave. The taste is sweet bready notes, caramel, and a fruity agave note. Medium bodied. Decent beer.
