A deep dark imperial stout with no head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with light vanilla, alcohol warmth, light coffee, dark fruits, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet chocolate malt with loads of dark fruits, cocoa, vanilla, licorice, very nice and rich. On tap at brewery.

keg at the brewery tap... Dark black... Thin tan lacing... Soft sweet chocolate roast malts nose... Dark sweet chocolate malts.. Heavy dry bitter chocolate coffee roast.. dry chocolate... Little too fizzy.. but otherwise delicious

New Beer Distributors, NYC bottle: pours black with a beige head. Aroma is chocolate, fresh medium roast coffee, farmhousiness, and light roast. Taste is sweet and kind of dry. Very light bodied for the large size. An easy drinking and tasty stout.
