Handpull cask at Broood at the Prince of Wales, Hinckley. Amber, slightly hazy with a big white head. Lovely if low aroma of tropical fruit, berry porridge, resin. Taste is a massive disappointment. Sour, almost vegetal. Spicy, yeasty notes accompany the unfortunate astringency in the finish. Not terribly cogent.

Cask at cloisters... Small tan head... Soft sweet toffee fruit nose... Light herbal cheesy... Soft sweet cheesy toffee malts... Light floral fruit
