Bombini is our interpretation of this classic Belgian style. Locally sourced Scottish heather honey supports subtle mango and citrus notes on the palate, along with a touch of malty sweetness. The finish has a clean, refreshing bitterness for a weighty beer.

Keg at the TTO at Brewdog Brighton. It pours clear golden - amber with a decent white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, sticky, big honey character, bread, toasty grain, grass and cereal. The taste is bitter - sweet, honey takes centre stage, honey on toasted bread, cereal, spice, grass, hay, toasted sugar and a lick of alcohol through the finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Not a huge amount of depth to it really. OK for a honey beer, but no game changer.
