The six stripes on the can represent the six different malts that give this beer its roasted flavour of chocolate, coffee and liquorice. Belgian abbey yeast then goes in to add a full-bodied complexity, fruity esters and a spicy finish. The perfect night cap.

Can at Craigs. Pours reddish, nose is banana, roasty, toffee, taste is sweet toffee, chewy, sugary.

Can at Craig’s. Pours hazy dark amber with a thin off- white head. Aromas of paint stripper, nail varnish. Apples. This is not well made.

can at home .. dark brown ... small tan head ... soft sweet toffee malt nose ... soft sweet wooody toffee malts .. soft sweet toffe malts .. ligth dry malts... little thin
