At a tasting, thanks, amall stable buvvly head, very cloudy veey deepre to brown color, aroma of sour brown bread, toffee, caramel and a hint of dried fruits, flavor of toffee and caramel with a hint of fruity sourness, quite heavy but the sourness lightens the load a bit. Nice and enjoyable.

Bottle brought home from Bucharest, Romania. Shared with Višnja 666 and Pilot Goran. Murky amber, small off-white head. Light malty, toasty, wood, dried fruits. Sweet and toasty. Thick, sticky, medium body, moderately lasting finish. Strong, even too aggressive. Lousy.

Smell of alcohol, oak. Bronze colour, high beige head. Aroma of alcohol, raisins, oak, some sugar in finish. Too much alcohol to start with, could've been milder. Very sweet. Oily and viscous texture. Very flat carbon.

Hazy, deep red colored, small+ beige frothy head. Aroma is of malt, some caramel, dried fruit, vanilla, light chocolate, toffee. Taste is medium+ sweet malt, caramel and toffee, dried fruit, raisins, nice vanilla notes, some light chocolate. medium- bitterness, alcohol is extremely well hidden. Medium+ bodied, soft carbonation, bit creamy. Very easygoing for such a strong beer, no alcohol bite and it’s not too sweet or cloying. Very well executed barleywine. (bottle)

BOTTLE 33 CL. Hazy deep red, beige head. Rich malty nose, toffee, milky caramel, fruit pie, jam, dried apricots. Some clovy spice and almost no alcohol. Some Bourbon? Similar, though less sophisticated taste - rich fruity and jammy, with just the right amount of alcoholic heat and spice, some hop bitterness. Very good.
