One of the first beers we brewed in 2013 that we’ve slowly tweaked until we found something we loved in 2016. Now a fan favorite, this beer has become a staple beer for us at Liberty Station.

Draught @ Stone 17th Anniversary Brewers Reception, San Marcos, CA
Pours hazy dark brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, floral and hint of chocolate. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with some cooked vegetables in the finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at Stone 17th anniversary party. A clear one, amber to brown in color, and with a small off-white head. Roasted malts, some cooked vegetables, hints of manure and coffee. The flavor is better, without the manure, and with a fine bitterness. Roasted towards the end. Full body and a pleasant carbonation. Quite dry. Pretty strange this one. 130816
