330ml bottle from Saveur-Biere.fr. Pours black with frothy tan had. Aroma is herbal hops and roasted malts. Taste is herbal & chocolatey with a slick texture. Not too into the herbal side, but it’s still a fairly decent BIPA.

Sampled draft @ “Kaapse Brouwers 1st Anniversary Beer Festival”. Black, little mocha head. Nose is huge on pine resin hops, lovely profile, oily grapefruit peel, light chocolate in the back. Taste is huge pine resin, oily grapefruit peel, wonderful hop profile & big on the hops, followed by very creamy sweet chocolate, complementary roast, sweet malts, light sweet coffee,… Very creamy. Wonderful BIPA. Very happy with what I have had so far from these guys.

Tap at Kaapse festival. Very dark brown with creamy light beige head. Citrus hops, light yeast, lemon, orange, light dark chocolate. Light to medium sweet with lasting roasted bitter finish. Medium bodied with creamy feel.

Bottle. Very dark brown with medium beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, grapefruit, hop and coffee. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, medium sweet, grapefruit, hop, medium bitter and a little liquorice.

Gelungen hopfig malziger Beginn, wenig röstig. Steigender runder Hopfen, dabei gefällt die schokoladig malzige Basis. Die Aromenkombination bleibt gleich, die Intensität steigt leicht. Vollmundig. 10/12/12/12/11/12

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As La Pirata Black Storms ].Clear dark dark brown black color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, moderate to heavy hoppy, grass, grapefruit, wood, petrolium notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, licorice, grapefruit, pine, roasted, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20150424]

33cl bottle shared by Arve_Christian - thanks a lot! Pours dark brownish with a beige head. Dark malty aroma with roasted malt, licorice and hints of herbs. Medium sweet with delicious flavours and nice bitterness. Tasty one!

Tap @ Kafe Belgie. Black coloured, beige head. Noe is hoppy, citric, roasted malts. Flavour is roasted malts, citric, coffee, hop bitterness. Finish is bitter and dry. Good stuff.
