Strolling through ancient recipes we stumbled across the idea for this distinctive country ale. Plenty of Crystal Malt and Bramling Cross hops gives this beer a subtle balance of malt and autumn fruit hoppiness.

Bottle from the brewery. Clear golden body with a thin white head that fades. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of grain and earth. Flavour follows the aroma. Thin body with a watery texture. Light fizz. It’s inoffensive and easy to drink, but I don’t think it’s an Amber Ale as advertised on the label.
