Bottle: Deep chestnut-amber coloured, no head to speak of; mild to moderate sweetish-bitter nose of toasted/roasted malt and dried fruits, well hidden traces of coffee still detectable; hardly moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, quite light bodied - but soft at least; slightly lingering roasty and coffeeish finish. Well drinkable, but nothing special...

(bottle, 33cl) Dark brown, almost black colour with a short and beige foamy layer. Sweet and mildly roasted malty with hints of condensed milk, liquorice and chocolate. Mildly sweet and roasty bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Slightly roasted malty base with notes of caramel, dark chocolate and liquorice, also lactic hints; moderately sweet and slightly roasty bitter finish with a delicately salty tail of chocolate. Good. 27.II.18

Bottle from Fountainhall Wines. It pours black with a tiny beige head. The aroma is pretty sweet, sticky dominated by milk chocolate, mocha coffee and toast. The taste is soft, sticky, rather sweet, grainy, coffee cake, milk chocolate and roasted maltage with a drying toasty finish. Light - medium body and fine carbonation. A touch sweet and lacking in depth. Fair.
