Originally created for Edinburgh pub institution The Blue Blazer, this beer gets its name from none other than The Boss and is as chilled and easy-going as he is. A fragrant and hoppy IPA with the introduction of Wheat in to the mash bill to cut through the hop bitterness and keep it super light and refreshing. Tougher Than the Rest; this beer was Born to Run straight in to your Hungry Heart.

Can picked up at Aldi Inverurie. It pours cloudy deep gold with a thick, foamy white cap. The aroma is fresh, bright, zingy orange citrus, tangerine, peach, light sherbet, wheat, crackers and hay. The taste is dry, crisp, touch of bitterness, pithy, orange zesty, tangerine, slighty soapy, wheaten bread, cracker, straw and dull floral accents with a dry finish. Average body and carbonation. Easy going and drinkable. Not bad.

Cans from Great Grog in 2018 and Aldi in 2022. Clear pale golden body with a thick white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of orange, minerals and lemon peel. Flavour of tonic water, green banana and grain. Thin body with a smooth mouthfeel. Light fizz. It’s pleasant but tastes a bit watered-down.

On cask at the Raeburn Hotel. Appearance - golden amber with a nice fluffy head. Nose - muesli, barley and some dried fruit. Taste - orange and barley. Light grassy finish. Palate - light to medium bodied. Creamy and fairly refreshing. Overall - solid.
